It is one of those special occasions, when, Christ in a very personal way bestows His grace upon your union.

A Parishioner is someone who regularly attends Sunday Mass at Saint Mary of the Angels and contributes financially to the Parish either through the Planned Giving System or by Direct Debit. In consultation with the Parish Priest, you may suggest a priest from outside the Parish to be the celebrant for your wedding.
People who are not parishioners of St Mary of the Angels are welcome to use our beautiful Church for their Weddings.
This is to be arranged with the Priest officiating at your wedding. Wedding rehearsals can only be held after 6pm.
The three metered parks at the front of the Church may be reserved by phoning 499 4444 and asking to speak to Parking Services at the Wellington City Council.
Archdiocesan Regulations for Wellington state that:
Flowers for the ceremony in St Mary of the Angels Church are the responsibility of the bridal party and are not included in the cost of hiring the Church. However, you must contact Sr. Frances on 473 8074 during office hours to discuss any arrangements you may wish to make for flowers. If you wish to use the permanent botanicals available from the Church a donation to the Church is appropriate.
No confetti, rice or flower petals are to be used in the Church or on Church property.
It is expected that you will use the official St Mary of the Angels organist, however under special circumstances approval may be granted for alternative arrangements from the Music Director. There is a fee of $150 for the organist/pianist.
